Content Manager and Creator – Associate Level

TGM is actively looking for a results-driven/self-motivated writer/designer to create and manage content for our clients.

Employment Status :

This is a salaried full time position, with a minimum of 40 hours/week, and a personal and professional dedication of your working hours towards the growth and betterment of Trembling Giant Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceive and compose informative and engaging content in blog and social media formats for clients and for Trembling Giant Marketing. This includes but is not limited to:
    • 350-800 word blogs for TGM blog clients each month (current volume is about 25/month)
    • Blog graphics to be designed as needed leveraging images from the client, royalty-free sites, and our Getty Images subscription
    • Facebook copy and designed graphics for clients as needed
    • Instagram, LinkedIn, and potentially other social media platforms as needed
  • Collaborate with and/or manage in-house creatives, contractors, and vendor partners on content creation needs for client projects of varying scope and scale
  • Attend regular networking group meetings as a representative of Trembling Giant Marketing with the purpose of building relationships in the community and driving new business
  • Make phone calls and send emails to set appointments to meet with independent small business owners in the region to discuss marketing communications needs on approved projects
  • Potential Travel (less than 5% of work time) within Carroll, Howard, Frederick, and Baltimore Counties to meet, present, promote and sell products/services to prospective customers who are independent small business owners and managers. Mileage reimbursed at federal reimbursement rate
  • Independently manage your active projects and their status
  • Research and recommend operational enhancements as opportunities for improvement are identified
  • Adhere to the core values of TGM: creative, goal-focused, honest, principled.
  • Promote cost-effective solutions and ­benefits to existing/potential customers to meet their marketing needs
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships.
  • Communicate clearly with team members about project statuses and client needs.
  • Inform owners with reports regarding customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements:

  • Writing, English, Marketing, Communications, Creative, or Business Bachelor’s or Associates Degree
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience delivering presentations.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Must have a functioning motor vehicle.
  • Must have a functioning smart phone.
  • Must provide at least 3 professional references
  • Professional attire required (business casual)

Printing and Promotional Products Coordinator

TGM is actively looking for a results-driven/self-motivated Printing and Promotional Products Coordinator to manage product orders.

Employment Status          

This is a Salaried FULL TIME position, with an expectation of a minimum of 40 hours/week, and a personal and professional dedication of your working hours towards the growth and betterment of Trembling Giant Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client orders of printed products (of all types) for Trembling Giant Marketing. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Coordinating order details and specifications with the client
  • Collaborating with vendors on pricing and order specifications based on client needs
  • Tracking and reporting on the status of all product orders from estimate to delivery
  • Maintaining clear, accurate, and pleasant communications with related vendors and clients
  • Collaborate with and/or manage in-house creatives, contractors, and vendor partners on imprint artwork, design, and messaging
  • Attend regular networking group meetings as a representative of Trembling Giant Marketing with the purpose of building relationships in the community and driving new business
  • Make phone calls and send emails to set appointments to meet with independent small business owners in the region to discuss marketing communications needs on approved projects

Requirements

  • Experience and/or college-level education with design, printing, apparel, OR promotional products
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Must have a functioning motor vehicle.
  • Must have a functioning smart phone.
  • Must provide at least 3 professional references
  • Professional attire required (business casual)

Compensation:      

  • Paid Vacation is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 26 hours worked in the first year; in the second-year vacation is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 20 hours worked
  • Unpaid vacation is allowed with management coordination and approval
  • Flexible/remote work options are available to mitigate work/life balance (e.g., needing to work from home because a service technician is coming, etc…)
  • Year-end bonuses are given out based on the overall success of the business and would be pro-rated in the first year.
  • Health Insurance options are available for discussion, but are not currently a funded benefit of Trembling Giant Marketing
  • 401K with a 100% match up to the first 1% you contribute, pre-tax
  • Business travel reimbursed at the federal required reimbursement amount
  • Pre-approved meals and entertainment expenses for clients and potential clients, as well as toll and/or parking expenses related to business travel will be reimbursed fully
